July 30th, 2008 - Shim Eunjin Makes Comeback by Featuring with Shoo
Two ex-members of female groups Baby VOX and SES, Shim Eunjin and Shoo have made their comeback this summer.
For over 3-6 years, they have worked hard on their new musical composition. The two participated with the hip hop duo, Show How’s debut, by featuring for them.
Shim Eunjin got the vocals to Han Sang Won’s ‘Do You’. With the combination of rap and singing, it needed to give off a unique melody. Shim Eunjin went to the studio June 15th to record for the song.

March 26th, 2006 - Shim Eunjin Reborn as "Innocent Woman"

Singer Shim Eun-jin (25) will advance into the Thai music market.
Eunjin has won wide recognition in Thailand for her role as a member of the female group Baby VOX. She will sign a release contract for her first solo album entitled "Zeeny's" with GMM Grammy, the largest general entertainment agency in Thailand.
Kim Dong-joon, president of Eunjin's agency J's Entertainment, said, "She will sign a three-year contract with GMM Grammy in Bangkok, Thailand on Feb. 17. She will start her various promotional activities in Thailand through GMM Grammy, including appearances on TV shows."

Shim Eunjin, the member of Baby VOX who went off on her own, finally got a start on her solo activities at the beginning of this year.
She records music with a strong beat and strong dance moves. Eunjin has accelerated the solo album preperations and has announced that in May she will begin TV activity. Shim Eunjin held a press conference, and talked about her plans for going solo.
A former member of Baby VOX, Shim Eunjin (24), held a press conference and talked about her new album due out this year as well as her future activities as an actor afterward. In the press conference held at Hongdae's (Hongik University in Seoul) "Studio 80" at 3pm on the 13th, she said, "I have seen a lot of reports and news speculating about me while I was resting in the U.S for a month, and I just thought that I wanted to talk about how I am doing now, and what I will be doing in the future."
Shim Eunjin who earned her fame during her tenure with Baby VOX for the past 8 years said that she is going solo because she wants to "discover" herself. After her contract with DR Music was expired last July, "I was so eager to find out about myself in truth. Every time the problem was me, and I wish you can regard my choice."
During an hour long press conference, she turned down the rumor that there have been disagreements among the members. "It was just two days ago when I went to visit Eunhye at the hospital to wish her well. I always feel lucky that we have had such a good relationship with each other although we've been together for 8 years."
She also touched upon rumors that DR Music is considering scouting a Chinese singer for her spot. "I have never heard anything from the members nor Mr. Yun (DR Music President) about that." She expressed her trust on the remaining members, "It is not a bad thing, but I would think just four of them will do just as well."
Lee Heejin burst into tears when Shim Eunjin told her that she is leaving Baby VOX.
"I personally met each and every one of the members, and told them that I am leaving. Heejin bursted into tears and so did I. EZ gave me encouragements for my new start (no wonder she is the team leader), and Eunhye and Miyoun gave me their supports." She expressed her thanks for the members.
Regarding her new album, "It is not true that the new album will come out in April. When I finally come back, I will look so different that you won't recognize me. It is too early to talk about the concepts of the new album though." She emphasized repeatedly that she will try to change her images completely.
She is also planning on taking acting lessons from an established actor. She revealed her affection towards acting, "I hear jokes that I may fit well for a bad girl role or even in a horror movie. But, I would like to try many different roles if it is possible."

January 3rd, 2005 - I Was Exhausted as Eight Years as a Singer
Shim Eunjin who abruptly left Baby VOX tells about what goes through her minds through the internet.
On the 31st, she explained in detail through a message that she posted on her mini home page why she left the group and how she is doing presently.
She started the message by saying, "I was very exhausted in being a singer for eight years." I have so many regrets not being able to continue as a member of Baby VOX. It was not an easy decision for me. I wish you understand that it is not the end, but rather a break for a while. She revealed her suffering and regrets with her decision to leave the team.
She said, "I have been staying at my aunt's house in New Jersey. I had traveled to Los Angeles and Las Vegas while resting there. I had already signed with another label before I came to the US."
She also touched on her future plans, "I can not exactly tell you what I will do because I am still considering a lot different paths. Regardless, I can promise that I will do my best in my future activities."
Her new label is considering letting her act as a solo as well as an actor, and expect to bring her to the fans with her new faces.

It has already been eight years since Baby VOX made its debut. First off, I would like to thank our fans who have stood by us through the many happy and difficult times.
Baby VOX has held numerous concerts in many different countries including China, Taiwan, Honkong, Thailand, Australia, USA, Japan, Vietnam, Pyongyang, and Mongolia, and the distance that we have traveled so far, is so much that it would go around the globe more than twenty times. Baby VOX was always there to perform wherever they greet us.
Now, Baby VOX has grown to an international group representing whole Asia, not just Korea's Baby VOX. I used to feel sorry for our fans because most of the time we were on travel touring numerous countries. I also feel sorry, and would like to thank our members who run forward with their duties despite all the difficulties.
It brings me a lot of regrets when I see many of our colleagues who made debuts at a similar time as us, have already broken up, or have left the music industry. I hope you came to understand why we have focused on our activities abroad. We, too, could have long been gone if we had only concentrated on our activates in Korea.
Despite the breakup rumors and others that have lately been floating around, Baby VOX will start again from now on until we achieve the ultimate goal of becoming the best pop group in Asia. I am, however, very regretful that Shim Eunjin will not be with us to the end against all fans expectations. We were unable to renew the contract with her following the completion of the Ride West album activities. Her thoughts are very different than ours, and she wants to be on her own. We wish her the best of luck and much progress in her future endeavor. We have, however, already sorted out our constructive discussions that we have had with other members. I will try to help open the door for other members to become all-round entertainers by balancing individual and group activities. Everything is going well with their preparations, and they have started practicing in the areas of their talent and interest.
Looking back for the past eight years, there has never been a shortage of incidents. There was the getting-away of the main vocals in the 1st album followed by the Kan Miyoun incident in the third album, and also the nude picture scandal with a mobile communication company (we are in the process of wrapping up the law suite that we iniated two years ago, and we are 100 % sure that we will win the suit) to the "Miari VOX" scandal, and now this Shim Eunjin getting away... are just a few came to my mind. But, you fans have always stood by us and given us the strength. I would like to thank you who have trusted and followed our lead.
In this coming 2005 we have a lot of plans and concerts already laid out. Please you fans give our Baby VOX the strength and encouragement and more interests. I wish you all good health and my best wishes for happy new year to all of you.
